Play Warhead Online
1990 action sim for Amiga. Pilot a FOE-57 fighter in space combat against alien forces. Features mouse-guided flight, multiple weapons, and varied mission objectives like assaults and rescue ops. Includes tactical HUD with different viewpoints.

Game Overview
Warhead throws you straight into the cockpit of the FOE-57, a scrappy little spacecraft that’s humanity’s last hope against the bug-like Sirians. The year’s 2045, Earth’s a mess, and you’re basically the guy everyone’s counting on—no pressure, right?
First thing you’ll notice: this isn’t just a shoot-’em-up. Missions actually feel like, well, missions. One minute you’re blasting alien fighters, the next you’re scrambling to protect a convoy or rescue stranded pilots. The mouse controls take a second to get used to, but once you figure out how to toggle between missiles, mines, and your main guns, dogfights get intense. And that autopilot? Lifesaver when you need to catch your breath.
What really sells it is the atmosphere—the HUD’s all glowy green lines and radar blips, and switching to the external view makes your ship look tiny against these massive alien cruisers. You’ll fail a few missions at first (those stingers are brutal), but nailing a perfect run? Worth it. Just don’t expect the Sirians to go easy on you.
