The backgrounds are gorgeous for a Genesis game—hand-drawn jungles, castles, and lava pits that make every fight feel like a scene from some lost fantasy flick. And yeah, there’s a story about taking down the Demonlord, but let’s be real: you’re here to slam a zweihander into someone’s ribs. It’s basically Soul Calibur’s scrappy, less-polished ancestor, and that’s why I love it.
