Wiz’n’Liz is one of those Genesis games that somehow slipped under the radar, which is a shame because it’s pure, frantic fun. You play as either Wiz or Liz—tiny wizards with big hats—chasing down runaway magical rabbits (or "wabbits," because of course they are). The levels are bright and chaotic, with a timer constantly breathing down your neck as you scramble to grab every last bunny before time runs out.

At first, it feels simple—just dash around, jump over obstacles, and herd the little furballs. But then you start unlocking spells, and suddenly you’re freezing enemies, warping across the screen, or turning into a tornado (because why not?). The music’s bouncy, the controls are tight, and the whole thing has this weirdly charming energy that makes you want to play "just one more level." It’s the kind of game where you’ll fail miserably at first, laugh, and immediately hit restart.

Also, the wabbits make this ridiculous squeaking noise when you catch them. You’ll either love it or go insane. No in-between.
