Play Wiz’n’Liz – The Frantic Wabbit Wescue Online
Run through colorful levels, catch wabbits, avoid enemies, and collect fruit to cast spells in this fast-paced platformer.
Wiz'n'Liz came out for the Sega Genesis in 1993, developed by Bizarre Creations. It was one of those games that felt a little different from the usual platformers of the time, with a focus on speed and collection rather than just jumping on enemies. It had a quirky, colorful look that stood out, even if it wasn't the most graphically ambitious title on the system.
You control either Wiz or Liz, a pair of small wizards, and your main goal is to catch all the wabbits that have escaped into each level. You run through screen by screen areas, herding the wabbits into a central portal while avoiding enemies and grabbing fruit that falls from the sky. Collecting enough fruit lets you cast spells, like freezing foes in place or turning into a spinning tornado to clear a path. The game moves fast, and the timer adds constant pressure, but pulling off a perfect run with a big spell finish is incredibly satisfying. It feels frantic but controlled, like you're always one smart move away from turning chaos into order.
