You play as this robed sorcerer hurling spells at skeletons, floating eyes, and whatever else lurks in the gothic shadows. The first level alone throws so much at you that you’ll probably die a few times just figuring out how to time your jumps between spikes.
It’s got that Ghouls ‘n Ghosts energy where every enemy feels like it’s conspiring against you, but swapping swords for magic gives it a different rhythm. The pixel art is moody as hell, all purples and blacks, and the music sounds like something from a haunted cathedral. Not gonna lie, it’s tough—but in that satisfying way where finally clearing a screen of monsters feels like a tiny victory.
If you’re into obscure 16-bit action with a supernatural edge, this one’s worth digging up. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
