Ever wanted to play as a werewolf with a cyberpunk vibe? Wolf Child on the Genesis is basically that—a weird, wild mix of fur and fury. You start off as some kind of sci-fi warrior, but after a quick transformation, you're suddenly slashing through enemies with claws that feel way too satisfying for a 16-bit game.
The first level throws you right into it—jumping between platforms, shredding robots, and figuring out how to time your howl attack (which, by the way, never gets old). The controls are simple but tight, and there's something weirdly fun about the way enemies explode into little pixel chunks when you rip into them.
It's got that classic '90s arcade energy—fast, a little janky in places, but full of personality. The soundtrack slaps, too. If you're into forgotten Genesis action games that don't take themselves too seriously, this one's a blast.
