I first played World of Illusion on the Sega Genesis back in 1992, a game developed and published by Sega. The main objective is to progress screen by screen, navigating through levels like a living storybook. Signature mechanics include using magic capes to glide or stun enemies, and solving environmental puzzles that often require both characters in two-player mode. The pacing is steady, and the difficulty is fair, never feeling too punishing. It feels imaginative and cooperative, like stepping directly into a classic cartoon.
