The first thing you notice is how weirdly good the batter’s-eye view feels—like you’re actually staring down a fastball.
It’s got that classic Sega arcade vibe but with surprisingly deep stats tracking. You can play full 162-game seasons (battery backup saves your progress, thank god), and the play-by-play announcer somehow doesn’t get annoying after hours. The Home Run Derby mode is pure fun when you just want to swing for the fences without dealing with fielding.
Still holds up as one of the best baseball games on the Genesis.
