Download World Series Cricket_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
Cricket simulation game featuring international teams, matches, and player management. Released in 1992 for Amiga.
Game Overview
World Series Cricket on the Amiga was one of those games that made you feel like you were actually at the crease—or at least as close as you could get with a joystick and pixelated players. The controls were simple enough to pick up, but timing your shots just right took practice. I remember whiffing at least a dozen balls before finally nailing a cover drive.
The animations were smooth for the time, especially when the bowler ran in or the batsman lofted one over midwicket. And the crowd noise? Surprisingly decent, though it looped a bit too obviously after a while. If you had a buddy to play against, it turned into a proper rivalry—nothing like smashing your friend’s best delivery for six.
It wasn’t perfect, but for cricket fans in the Amiga era, this was as good as it got.
