X-Out_DiskA is one of those classic Amiga shooters that feels simple at first—just you, your ship, and waves of enemies—but gets surprisingly intense once the screen fills up. The controls are tight, and the pixel art has that satisfyingly chunky Amiga charm. I remember getting wrecked by the third level until I figured out the weapon upgrades.

What I like is how it doesn’t overcomplicate things. No convoluted power-up system, just straightforward blasting with a few strategic choices. The music’s got that old-school synth vibe too, which somehow makes dying repeatedly less frustrating. If you’ve got an Amiga or an emulator, it’s still a solid way to kill an afternoon.
