Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition is one of those GBA games that feels like carrying a whole card shop in your pocket. You start with a basic deck, and the first few duels are rough—like trying to win with a handful of weak monsters and barely any spells. But slowly, you build something better.

The AI opponents aren’t pushovers, either. I remember getting wrecked by some random duelist running a trap-heavy deck, which made me rethink my whole strategy. The card pool is decent, though some of the more powerful ones feel impossible to pull from boosters without grinding for hours.

It’s still fun if you’re into the old-school Yu-Gi-Oh! vibe, but don’t expect modern mechanics. You’ll be shuffling through menus a lot, and the pacing can drag between duels. Still, for a GBA game, it holds up okay.
