Zardoz on the Amiga is one of those weird, early '90s games that feels like it was dreamed up at 3 AM after too much caffeine. You control this little wizard dude who shoots magic bolts at floating heads (yes, really) while dodging obstacles that look like they were designed by someone who just discovered fractals. The colors are aggressively bright, the sound effects are borderline chaotic, and the whole thing has this surreal, almost hypnotic vibe.
At first, it seems simple—just move left and right, zap the heads—but then the screen starts scrolling, the backgrounds shift unpredictably, and suddenly you're questioning whether you're playing a game or having a fever dream.
