You control a student navigating a seemingly abandoned high school that is, in fact, teeming with the undead. Your main objective is simply to survive and find a way out. The gameplay involves methodical, screen-by-screen exploration of the school's classrooms and corridors, using makeshift weapons like fire extinguishers and baseball bats found in the environment to fend off shambling foes. The pacing is tense and deliberate, with a high difficulty stemming from limited resources and enemies that can quickly overwhelm you. It feels like a desperate, lonely scramble through a place that should be familiar but has become a nightmare.
