1200-in-1 (J) is one of those bootleg NES multicarts that somehow ended up with way more games than advertised—though half of them are just palette swaps or the same game with a different title screen. The first time you boot it up, you're hit with a janky menu that looks like someone threw together in five minutes, and navigating it feels like digging through a bargain bin at a flea market.

There are a few decent classics buried in there, but you’ll spend more time sifting through weird knockoffs and broken versions of familiar games. Some just freeze, others play at double speed, and a few are so glitched they’re barely recognizable. Still, there’s something oddly charming about the mess of it—like finding a weird time capsule of early '90s piracy.

If you go in expecting a polished collection, you’ll be disappointed. But if you just want to mess around with a bizarre piece of NES history, 1200-in-1 (J) has its moments.
