I picked up 1999: Hore, Mitakotoka! Seikimatsu on a whim, a Japan-only NES release from 1991 by publisher Irem. It's one of those oddball titles that slipped through the cracks, a product of its era when developers were willing to experiment with just about any concept, no matter how bizarre.
