I picked up 2 in 1 - Monsters en Co & Finding Nemo on the Game Boy Advance back when it came out. It was one of those budget releases, no big publisher splash, just a simple two-game cartridge. The GBA had a lot of these compilations, especially for younger players or Disney fans. It wasn't trying to be groundbreaking; it was just there, a straightforward way to get two short adventures in one package.
You control either Marlin from Finding Nemo or Sulley from Monsters, Inc., each in their own side-scrolling platformer. As Marlin, you swim through ocean levels, avoiding jellyfish and other hazards while searching for Nemo. Sulley’s game has you navigating through doors and dodging Randall’s surprise attacks. The main goal in both is straightforward: get from start to finish, collecting items along the way. The mechanics are simple, with basic jumping and interaction, and the pacing is relaxed, though some enemy patterns can trip you up if you’re not paying attention. It feels like a light, easygoing way to pass the time, especially if you enjoy the movies.
