I picked up this 2 in 1 GBA cart from Independent, which bundled Shrek 2 and Shark Tale together. It was a budget release, nothing flashy, but it gave you two full games on one cartridge. For the time, that was a pretty solid deal if you were into licensed platformers or just wanted something simple to play on the go.
In Shrek 2, you control Shrek through side scrolling levels, fighting guards with basic attacks and tossing objects like cabbages. Shark Tale has you playing as Oscar, swimming through underwater stages, avoiding obstacles, and occasionally engaging in rhythm based dance sequences. Both games involve collecting items and moving screen by screen, with straightforward objectives and moderate difficulty. It feels like a straightforward, no frills way to pass the time with some familiar characters.
