I picked up 2 In 1 - Shrek 2 & Shark Tale for the Game Boy Advance back in 2004, when Activision was putting out a lot of these licensed platformers. It was a time when you could count on movie tie-ins to fill the portable library, and this one bundled two properties into a single cart. It wasn't trying to be groundbreaking, just a straightforward way to jump into two different animated worlds on the go.

You control Shrek in his half of the game, and Oscar in the other, moving through side-scrolling stages, breaking crates, and hitting enemies with basic attacks. The main goal is to get from the start of each level to the end, often by solving simple environmental puzzles, like moving blocks or hitting switches. You collect coins and items to unlock extras, and the pacing is generally relaxed, though some later stages can test your timing. It feels like a comfortable, if unremarkable, way to pass the time with familiar characters.
