Man, 4D Sports Boxing on the Amiga was something else. You'd boot up Disk 2 (because of course it needed two floppies) and suddenly you're in this weirdly immersive boxing sim where the fighters look like polygonal action figures. The controls take a minute to get used to—dodging feels stiff at first until you realize you've got to time it just right.
What really stuck with me was how the camera would swing around dynamically during fights, making it feel way more intense than other sports games at the time. And the sound effects—those crunchy punches and the crowd noise—were surprisingly good for an Amiga title. You could almost feel the sweat.
It wasn't perfect, but for early '90s boxing games, this one had a weird charm that kept me coming back. Just don't expect modern controls—this is pure retro.
