Oh, and the stock market’s there if you feel like gambling with virtual money. Plus, the seasons change—snow piles up in winter, fireworks go off for New Year’s—which is a nice touch when you’re deep in spreadsheets trying to figure out why your freight trains keep losing money. It’s a slow burn, but when your rail empire finally clicks, it feels like magic.
