Game Overview
Abadox is one of those NES games that looks cool until you actually play it—then it just murders you over and over. It's a side-scrolling shooter where you fly through some gross alien guts (seriously, the whole game feels like you're inside a monster's digestive system). The levels switch between horizontal and vertical scrolling, which keeps things interesting, but good luck making it past the first few screens without getting shredded. Enemies come from everywhere, bullets fill the screen, and your hitbox feels way bigger than it should. If you're into masochistic retro challenges, this might be your thing. Otherwise, maybe stick to something less punishing.
