Achikochi is one of those weird little NES games that makes you go, "Wait, how have I never heard of this before?" The first time I played, I got stuck for way too long on a level where you have to bounce off mushrooms just right. It feels like the game’s messing with you at first, but in a way that makes you laugh instead of rage-quit. The music’s got that classic chiptune charm, and the whole thing has this dreamy, slightly off-kilter vibe—like if someone turned a children’s picture book into a puzzle game.
