Adventure Construction Set was one of those weirdly ambitious games for the Amiga where you could basically build your own RPG adventures. Disk 2? That’s where things got interesting—it packed in extra tools, monsters, and tilesets that weren’t in the first release. Spent hours tinkering with dungeon layouts and scripting dumb little quests for friends. The interface was clunky by today’s standards, but back then, it felt like having a game design toolkit right on your floppy disk.
If you ever messed with this back in the day, you probably remember the oddly satisfying click of placing down a treasure chest or tweaking enemy stats. Half the fun was seeing how badly your homemade adventures could break.
