Game Overview
Adventures of Lolo 2 is one of those classic NES puzzle games that makes you feel clever when you solve a room—and completely stumped when you don’t. Lala’s been kidnapped (again), and this time the king of Eggerland’s behind it. You play as Lolo, pushing blocks, dodging enemies, and collecting hearts to unlock doors, floor by floor.
The puzzles start simple, but by the third or fourth floor, you’ll be staring at the screen for way too long, trying to figure out how to trap that stupid snake without getting cornered yourself. The music’s oddly cheerful for a rescue mission, but it grows on you. If you liked the first one, this is more of that—just harder, and with a few new tricks.
Fair warning: some of the later levels feel like they were designed to make you regret ever picking up the controller.
