The signature mechanics are all about managing the loose, almost out-of-control handling of your craft and using a turbo boost that must be carefully rationed. The pacing is fast and unforgiving; one mistake often sends you careening off the course. Getting good means learning to anticipate every sharp turn and using the track's half-pipe-like walls to your advantage. It feels like constantly wrestling with the controller just to stay in the race.
