Aggressive Inline came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2002, published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was part of that wave of extreme sports games that followed Tony Hawk's success, but it swapped the skateboard for inline skates. The GBA version tried to capture the same trick-based action in a portable format, fitting right in with other arcade-style sports titles of the era.
You control an inline skater, navigating compact urban levels filled with rails, ramps, and halfpipes. The main goal is to chain together tricks and grinds to build high scores and complete objectives. Signature mechanics include performing manuals to extend combos, grinding on rails and ledges, and pulling off special moves like spins and flips. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty comes from maintaining momentum and avoiding crashes that break your combo. It feels fluid when you link moves together, but one mistake can send you back to the start.
