Game Overview

Aggressive Inline for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2002, developed by Z-Axis and published by Acclaim. It was part of that wave of extreme sports games that followed Tony Hawk's success, but it brought its own focus on inline skating to the handheld. The GBA version tried to capture the feel of its bigger console siblings, adapting the mechanics for a smaller screen without losing the core trick-based action.

You control an inline skater, moving through urban environments filled with rails, ramps, and half-pipes. The main goal is to chain tricks together to build your score and complete objectives across various levels. Signature mechanics include performing grinds on rails and ledges, pulling off aerial tricks like flips and spins, and linking moves to maintain combos. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty ramps up as you attempt to land longer sequences without bailing. It feels fluid when you get into a rhythm, linking grinds and jumps smoothly before the timer runs out.
