You control Alfred, a chicken on a mission to rescue his friends from the clutches of the evil Meka Hen. You move screen by screen, pecking enemies and objects, flapping to extend your jumps, and bouncing off mushrooms to reach higher platforms. The levels are filled with hazards like walking bombs and robotic foes, and you often need to find keys or hit switches to progress. The pacing is deliberate, and some sections demand careful timing, especially with the occasionally awkward jumping physics.
