The new levels mix things up—like one where the base is already self-destructing, so you're just sprinting for the exit dodging explosions. And thank goodness for level codes; no more replaying the first five levels every time you get wrecked by some surprise alien ambush. If you liked the original, this feels like a solid expansion rather than just a rehash.
It's classic Amiga-era top-down chaos, just with a few extra ways to die.
