Play Alisia Dragoon (Japan) Online
You dodge arrows while frying enemies with chain lightning, juggling four creatures that help—if they survive the chaos. That dragon won’t last long, but the synth soundtrack makes the pain feel good.

Game Overview
Alisia Dragoon is one of those Genesis games that kicks your butt but makes you love it anyway. You play as Alisia, who’s basically a lightning-wielding badass with a small army of creatures backing her up—dragons, weird floating eyeballs, the works. The first level throws you right into it: you’re dodging arrows, frying enemies with chain lightning, and trying not to get wrecked by the surprisingly aggressive wildlife.
The companion system is what makes it stand out. You’ve got four creatures to cycle through, each with their own quirks. The dragon’s great for crowd control, but good luck keeping it alive when everything wants to eat you. And yeah, it’s tough—like, "throw-your-controller-but-then-immediately-pick-it-back-up" tough. The soundtrack slaps, though. All crunchy synths and driving beats that somehow make dying for the tenth time feel cool.
It’s got that early ‘90s SEGA vibe—gritty, fast, and unapologetic. If you’re into games where skill actually matters, this one’s a blast from the past worth revisiting.
