Amida’s one of those weird little Game Boy puzzlers that hooks you fast. You’ve got this tiny dude walking blindly across rickety bridges, and your only job is to flip switches at the right moment to steer him away from gaps or traps. Sounds simple, but the timing gets brutal—one mistimed click and he’s tumbling into the void.
The bridges start off easy, just a couple of turns, but later levels turn into these tangled messes where you’re frantically tapping buttons as your guy bounces between platforms. The animation’s janky in that classic Game Boy way, but it adds charm. You’ll either love the tension or rage-quit after the fifth fall in a row.
It’s the kind of game you play in short bursts, muttering “just one more try” until you realize an hour’s gone.
