Play Anarchy Online
1990 Amiga side-scrolling shooter. Control a ship through looping levels, battling waves of enemies and bosses. Manage energy on one life. Upgrade weapons with multi-directional shots, drones, and beams. Features 50 high score slots.

Anarchy came out on the Amiga in 1990 from Psygnosis. It was one of those solid, straightforward shooters that felt right at home on the platform, offering a clean, polished experience without a lot of the fuss you saw in other games of the era.
You pilot a small, nimble ship through a series of horizontally scrolling levels, each looping back on itself. Your main goal is to survive the enemy waves and destroy the boss waiting at the end of each stage. Key mechanics include collecting power-ups to enhance your weapons, like multi-directional shots and defensive drones, while carefully managing a single energy bar that serves as both your health and shield. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty climbs steadily, demanding precise movement and quick reactions. It feels tense and rewarding when you finally clear a tricky section you've been stuck on.
