Play Arctic Tale (U)(Sir VG) Online
You trudge through snowy wastes, watching seals dart under ice while the northern lights ripple overhead—until a polar bear reminds you this isn’t a sightseeing trip.

Arctic Tale came out in 2007 for the Game Boy Advance, published by Zoo Games. It was one of those late-era GBA titles that tried to capture a more cinematic, nature-focused feel on hardware that was already being overshadowed by the DS. You play as a young Inuit hunter, and the whole game is set against this vast, frozen landscape that really pushes the GBA's color palette.
You control the hunter from a side-view perspective, moving screen by screen across the icy terrain. Your main goal is to survive and protect your village by hunting animals like seals and fish, while also avoiding predators like polar bears. The gameplay involves a lot of careful timing: you use a spear for hunting and defense, and you often have to wait for the right moment to strike or evade. There's a light resource management aspect where you gather food and supplies to bring back. The pacing is deliberate, sometimes slow, which fits the theme of survival in a harsh environment. It feels lonely and tense, especially when you're low on supplies and a storm rolls in.
