Argus is that classic NES shooter where you're just blasting through waves of enemies, no frills attached. It feels a lot like Terra Cresta from the arcades—same relentless upward scroll, same satisfying pew-pew chaos. Your little ship dodges bullets (some slow, some way too fast) while firing back with both air and ground missiles. The buildings look like they were drawn in five minutes, but hey, they'll wreck you if you crash into 'em.

What I like is how the screen lets you zip all the way to either edge—none of that artificial 'invisible wall' nonsense. And of course, there's always some ridiculous giant boss waiting at the end of each level, begging to be turned into scrap metal. Simple, tough, and exactly what you'd expect from an '80s shooter.
