Play Army Men Advance GBA Online
Take command of plastic soldiers, navigate through battlefields, and blast your way through enemy lines in this top-down shooter.
Army Men Advance came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Digital Eclipse and published by The 3DO Company. It was part of that wave of early GBA titles that tried to bring familiar console-style action into a portable format, back when a top-down shooter felt perfectly at home on the small screen.
You control Sarge, a green plastic soldier, leading a small squad through household environments turned hostile. Your main goal is to complete missions by clearing rooms of tan army men, often rescuing allies or destroying key targets. The game plays out screen by screen, locking you into combat arenas until all enemies are defeated. You use a variety of weapons, from rifles and grenades to flamethrowers, and can even melt plastic enemies into puddles with a well-placed shot. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later stages. It feels straightforward and satisfying, like a quick tactical skirmish in your pocket.
