Army Men Sarge on N64 is that weird little gem where you lead a squad of plastic green soldiers through backyard battlefields. You start off with just a few guys, sneaking around soda cans and dodging toy tanks, but it quickly turns into full-blown tactical chaos. The missions get surprisingly tough—one wrong move and your whole squad gets melted by a kid’s magnifying glass.
The graphics are chunky in that classic N64 way, but the toy aesthetic actually works in its favor. Everything looks like it was pulled straight from a sandbox, right down to the oversized pencils and dominoes scattered around. And yeah, the story’s cheesy, but in a fun "GI Joe meets Toy Story" kind of way. If you ever played with army men as a kid, this one’s a nostalgia trip with some actual strategy mixed in.
