Game Overview
Astro Rabby is one of those weird little Game Boy games that somehow nails the perfect mix of speed and precision. You're a rabbit—wearing a space helmet, obviously—bouncing between platforms, dodging aliens, and grabbing cosmic carrots like some kind of intergalactic grocery run gone wild.
The controls feel surprisingly smooth for an old handheld title, and the levels have this great flow where you're either nailing tricky jumps or accidentally yeeting yourself into pits (which happens more than I'd like to admit). The art's got that classic 90s charm—bright colors, chunky sprites, and springs that send you flying halfway across the screen.
It never made it outside Japan, which is a shame because it's way more fun than half the platformers that did. If you're into retro stuff or just want to see what happens when you mix a rabbit with zero gravity, track this one down.
