Play B.C. Kid (Europe) Online

You're a caveman with a comically hard head, bouncing off enemies and chomping floating meat to go turbo—it's ridiculous in the best way. The jumps can be punishing, but stringing together headbutts feels oddly satisfying.

Game Overview

B.C. Kid—or Bonk’s Adventure, depending on where you grew up—is one of those weirdly satisfying Game Boy ports that somehow works despite the tiny screen. You play as a caveman with a skull harder than a bowling ball, bouncing off enemies and smashing through platforms like a tiny prehistoric wrecking ball. The first time you chomp into a floating hunk of meat and go full turbo-mode, you’ll get why this game stuck around.

It’s definitely stripped down from the TurboGrafx version, but the goofy charm is all there: dino rides, those weird little smiley flowers, and levels that feel like a Saturday morning cartoon cranked up to 11. Some of the jumps are brutal on the Game Boy’s cramped controls, but nailing a perfect headbutt chain never gets old. Perfect for quick sessions when you just want to bonk something.
