It was a straightforward digital take on the classic board game, arriving at a time when the Amiga was well known for both arcade action and thoughtful strategy titles. You control the movement of your pieces, rolling virtual dice and deciding which of your checkers to move across the board's twenty four points. The main goal is to be the first to bear off all your pieces, navigating around your opponent's blocks and trying to avoid leaving any of your own checkers exposed. Key mechanics include hitting and sending your opponent's lone pieces to the bar, forcing them to re enter the board, and the crucial doubling cube, which allows you to raise the stakes of the game.
