Play Backyard Basketball (U)(Chameleon) Online
Pick tiny Shaq or mini Iverson for 3-on-3 streetball with sprinkler hazards and goofy power-ups—alley-oop over a garden fence while the announcer yells "Holy macaroni!"

Game Overview
Backyard Basketball on GBA is basically NBA Jam for kids, but way more charming than that sounds. You pick a team of cartoonish versions of real NBA and WNBA stars—I always went with Shaq because his tiny legs made me laugh—and play 3-on-3 streetball with ridiculous power-ups. The courts have weird obstacles like sprinklers going off mid-game, and the announcer yells stuff like "Holy macaroni!" when you sink a half-court shot.
It's janky in that early 2000s handheld sports game way, but there's something weirdly addictive about watching miniature Allen Iverson dribble circles around a mailbox. The controls take a minute to get used to, but once you figure out the turbo button, you'll be pulling off alley-oops over garden fences in no time.
Honestly, it's still one of the better basketball games on GBA if you don't take it too seriously.
