Play Badminton Online
Tiny NES court, lightning-fast rallies—that shuttlecock *thwip* when you nail a perfect shot is weirdly addictive. Two-player turns into a button-mashing war of lobs and desperate dives.

Badminton came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988, developed by Aicom. It was one of those simple sports titles that filled out the NES library, offering a straightforward take on the racket sport without much fanfare. You get a basic representation of a badminton court, two players (or one against the computer), and that's about it. It doesn't try to be anything more than a quick, accessible game.
You control a single athlete on your side of the net, moving back and forth to hit the shuttlecock. The main goal is to outscore your opponent by making them miss or return the shot into the net. The game uses a simple timing system for different shot types, like clears and smashes, and the two-player mode turns into a frantic back-and-forth with lots of quick reflexes. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike sharply against the computer, especially when it starts returning everything. It feels satisfying when you land a well-placed shot, but the overall experience is fairly bare bones.
