Game Overview

You pilot this massive mech called Bangai-O, blasting through swarms of enemies with missiles that either home in or ricochet off walls—depending on which sibling you’re controlling at the time. The whole thing feels chaotic in the best way, especially when you trigger that screen-filling special attack and watch hundreds of shots erupt in every direction.
Oh, and the enemies drop fruit. Because of course they do—space pirates are smuggling rare fruits for some evil scheme, so naturally, you collect them to power up. The more you chain explosions together, the crazier your upgrades get. It’s the kind of game where you’ll fail a level, tweak your approach, and suddenly pull off a ridiculous combo that clears the screen in seconds. Just don’t be surprised if you end up replaying stages just to see how big of an explosion you can pull off.
