Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge (Suxxors) (E) is a GBA platformer that feels like a stripped-down version of the N64 games. You still hop around collecting notes and jiggies, but everything's smaller—fewer moves, tinier worlds, and simpler puzzles. The first area throws you right into it with some basic jumps and a few enemies to peck at with Kazooie.
It's got that familiar Banjo charm, though. The music tries its best to sound like the old tunes, and Gruntilda's rhyming insults are still there, even if they're shorter. The controls are a little stiff compared to the console versions, but you get used to it after a while.
