Game Overview
Banzai is this wild, frantic Amiga shooter that feels like someone mashed up Commando with a straight-to-VHS action flick. You're a kamikaze pilot who got shot down and tossed into a POW camp—until your wounded buddy Tomomi shoves some top-secret intel into your hands and basically says "run."
At first all you’ve got is a lousy knife, but within minutes you’re blasting through enemy lines with a rifle and grenades (hold up + fire to chuck one, and yeah, your guy yells "BANZAI!" every time). The screen scrolls nonstop, so you’re constantly dodging bullets, leaping over mines, and occasionally getting strafed by planes. Mess up and you’ll drown in knee-deep water or get shredded by a machine gun nest. It’s gloriously unfair in that classic arcade way.
Oh, and the clock’s ticking—you’ve got three in-game days before the intel goes stale. No pressure.
