You control Barbie as she explores a variety of levels, from forests to ice caves, collecting gems and solving simple environmental puzzles. The main goal is to break the spell cast by the evil wizard Wenlock, which involves finding magical items and occasionally taking to the skies on her pegasus, Annika. The flying sections are a bit clunky but break up the on-foot exploration; you also use a wand to interact with objects and fend off minor enemies. The pacing is relaxed, and the difficulty stays low, making it easy to pick up and put down. It feels like a straightforward, cheerful distraction, perfect for short bursts of play.
