Barbie Superpack came out for the Game Boy Advance, published by Vivendi Universal Games. It was one of those titles that felt very much of its time, aimed at a specific audience on a handheld that was full of licensed games and platformers. You control Barbie across two separate adventures. In one, you ride a horse through obstacle courses, jumping fences and collecting items. In the other, you play as a spy, sneaking past guards and using gadgets like a lipstick laser to solve simple puzzles. The main objective is just to complete each level's straightforward tasks, moving from screen to screen. The pacing is slow, and the difficulty is very gentle, meant for younger players. It feels like a simple, distraction-filled afternoon.
