Play Batman Forever Online
You’re swinging between Gotham rooftops one second, then stuck in a clunky combo-brawl the next—those digitized sprites look cool, but good luck landing a batarang when the controls fight back.

Batman Forever on the Sega Genesis is one of those weird mid-90s movie tie-ins that tried something different. Instead of just being a straight-up beat 'em up or platformer, it mashes both together—you’ll jump across rooftops one minute, then suddenly get locked into a one-on-one fight with thugs the next. The controls take some getting used to, especially with all the special moves tied to awkward button combos (good luck pulling off a batarang throw mid-fight).
The digitized graphics were impressive for the time, though it’s kinda funny seeing generic stand-ins for Batman and Robin instead of Val Kilmer or Chris O’Donnell. And yeah, Two-Face and Riddler are the main villains, but don’t expect much of the movie’s plot—just lots of punching, gadgets, and the occasional frustrating platforming section. It’s not the best Batman game out there, but there’s a weird charm to its janky ambition.
