Bats & Tery is this weird, kinda charming NES game where you play as a baseball-themed superhero who throws fastballs at robots and weird creatures. At first, you're Batsu—strong, throwing perfect pitches—but get hit once, and you downgrade to Terii, swinging a bat like a regular guy. The catch? Defeating enemies as Terii gives you more energy, so sometimes it's worth taking a hit on purpose. The enemies are all over the place—some look like machines, others like mutant animals—and the whole thing has this goofy energy that makes it hard to put down. It's janky in that classic NES way, but there's something oddly satisfying about knocking out a robot with a well-aimed baseball.
