Play Beethoven's 2nd Online
You control a slobbery St. Bernard, guiding his wobbly puppies through colorful levels while sniffing out bones—it's silly, simple, and weirdly charming.

Beethoven’s 2nd on the Game Boy is one of those weirdly endearing licensed games from the '90s that somehow works. You play as the big, drooly St. Bernard himself, trotting through bright, cartoony levels with his puppies in tow. It’s mostly about sniffing out bones (because of course it is) and nudging your little furry squad past obstacles—nothing too intense, but there’s something oddly satisfying about herding those clumsy pups.
The puzzles are simple, the music’s cheerful, and the whole thing feels like it was designed for kids who just wanted to hang out with Beethoven for a while. It won’t challenge you like a proper platformer, but that’s kind of the point—it’s more about the vibe than the difficulty. If you’ve got nostalgia for the movies or just like goofy retro games, this one’s a surprisingly pleasant way to kill half an hour.
Honestly, it’s better than it had any right to be.
