Benefactor_Disk2 on the Amiga is one of those weirdly charming puzzle-platformers where you play as Ben E. Factor, trying to rescue these little guys called the Merry Men from six moons. The twist? Each one you save has a different skill—some can jump higher, others move blocks—so the order you free them in actually matters. Mess it up, and you might get stuck staring at a wall you can’t climb.

The levels are packed with oddball enemies like sluggish slugs (easy to dodge, but you’ve gotta jump over them) and these rock creatures that move way faster than something called a "Rock Man" should. There’s also this weird mechanic where some of the Merry Men are gray and miserable—you’ve gotta drag them through a coloring machine to cheer them up before they’ll help. The map’s huge, but you can pause and scroll around to plan your route, which saves you from wandering into spiked teeth or other surprises.

It’s quirky, sometimes frustrating, but in that satisfying way where you keep retrying just to figure out the right rescue order. Definitely not your average platformer.
