Download Benefactor_Disk3 ROM – Amiga Game
1994 Amiga action game with 60 levels. Rescue Merry Men for abilities, avoid enemies like slugs and Rock Men. Use a map to plan moves. Includes coloring mechanic for grey-suited prisoners.
Benefactor_Disk3 is one of those Amiga games that looks cute but plays like a puzzle wrapped in an action game. You’re Ben E. Factor, bouncing between six moons to rescue these little guys called the Merry Men—except they’re not all merry. Some wear dull grey suits, and you’ve gotta drag them through a colorizer machine before they’ll help. Weird, right?
The levels are packed with bizarre hazards: slugs you have to hop over, Rock Men with spiky backs that’ll ruin your day, and teeth that pop out of manholes like some kind of dental nightmare. The map’s a lifesaver—you can pause and scan the whole thing to plan your route, because charging in blind usually ends badly. Figuring out which Merry Men to rescue first (some unlock doors, others build bridges) is half the challenge.
It’s quirky, tough, and the kind of game where you’ll fail a level three times before realizing you needed the guy with the hammer two screens back. Still weirdly satisfying when it clicks.
